Nomination
after the break (Change of rule)

A vote will be taken at the Summer Registration, if voted in the rule will be affected in the Summer 2019 season.
Action: Item to be added to the agenda for the Summer Registration meeting (Tracey Arthur)
4. Nomination of pocket for Black Ball
It has been noted that on several occasions, that players have not been asked / or nominated a pocket for the black ball.
It was agreed that the referee will ask the player which pocket they are nominating for the black on every shot.
If the referee does not ask, the player does not nominate a pocket, and the black is potted, the game is void, meaning no points are awarded for the game.
5. Points
A suggestion had been put forward for the points system to be changed to 3 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. The attendees of the meeting were not in favour, the points system will remain as is.
6. Promotion / Relegation
The top 2 teams from the B League will be automatically promoted to the A League, with the bottom 2 teams from the A League being relegated.
Teams will not be able to change venues to avoid promotion. A new team is only formed if it has less than 50% of the same players in the new team, otherwise it will be regarded as a change of venue.
7. Point deductions for postponed games
It was agreed for the Winter 2018-19 season, that no points would be deducted (fines will continue), for postponing a game. This will be re-assessed at the Summer 2019 Registration. If a game is to be postponed the Secretary and opposing team needs to be informed by the Friday before the match, otherwise the match will be deemed a no-show and average points will be awarded to the opposing team.
Action: Item to be added to agenda for
Summer 2019 Registration (Tracey Arthur)
